The Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center opens this weekend!
AMS Managing Director Michele Walter and Senior Consultant Melora Cybul will attend the grand opening of Auburn University’s Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center this weekend. AMS began working with the University in 2015 to determine program opportunities, guide planning, and develop an operating pro forma for the proposed performing arts center. We additionally assisted with architect selection and provided implementation planning support to ensure clarity around major operational and programmatic milestones prior to, during, and through construction.
The Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center comprises a 85,000 square foot building which, together with the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art, will define the Cultural Arts District and southern gateway to campus. The 1,200 seat multi-purpose theatre and outdoor ‘porch’ and amphitheatre will provide high quality musical, theatrical, dance, guest speakers and other events for students, faculty and the Auburn community.
